       Area rugs are unique pieces of art. Some of which can be many decades to centuries old. Don’t just let anyone come by and clean your beautiful rugs. Here at Restora-Rug we know that every rug is unique, different processes need be applied depending on the particular situation. We will carefully select the appropriate treatment that your rug needs and we have the expertise to properly deal with any situation.
 

•         All rugs go through the same multi-step process. First an inspection of the rug is done and any potential problems are documented. Then a thorough dusting and vacuum are performed with our Minuteman wide area carpet vacuum (brush motor: 0.25 HP). We then pre test for color stability. Depending on the results of the color test we will either wet or dry clean. But before that any stains will be treated with one of our all natural pre-sprays. (This is one of the most important and overlooked steps many cleaners fail to realize. Wether it be due to ignorance, money or laziness many companies skip the pre-spray and will fail at extracting all stains and dirt.) After the rug is cleaned it is quickly dried to insure no odor or molding will occur. Finally the rug is sealed in an air tight wrap, insuring that you receive the rug back in pristine condition.
