Ideally, you should clean the carpets in your home every 12 months. However, high-traffic spaces and offices might need more frequent cleaning. Your carpet might also need to be cleaned more often if you have pets or children or if you smoke indoors. If you’re prone to allergies, you might want to clean your carpets more often. 

In between professional carpet cleans, frequent vacuuming should help your carpet stay fresh.

Many experts recommend having your mattress cleaned professionally once or twice a year. You might want to have it cleaned more often If you’re prone to allergies, if you smoke, or if you live in a heavily polluted area like New York City. 

In between professional mattress cleans, you can vacuum your mattress every so often (at least twice a year). To reduce dust mites and prevent odors, air your mattress out when you’re cleaning your sheets.

 Its a common misconception that the more water used, the better the end results will be. This is not true and you want to use the least amount of water to achieve the desired results. This is done for two main reasons. The first being that too much water can create bubbles in the carpet with the potential to grow mold underneath, and secondly its just an inconvenience for the home owner. On average it should be about two hours to dry but at worst no more than four. Carpets can be walked on immediately but its best to avoid the damp areas if possible. 

 We can clean items within your home. This is often the most convenient option for our customers. However, if for some reason it can’t be cleaned in your home, we’ll be happy to clean it at our warehouse. 

 For in-house cleaning, it will take approximately 30 minutes per room on average. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and whether spot removal treatments are necessary. 

 Again, for in-house cleaning it should be about 30 minutes, but this will vary depending on how soiled the rug is and its material.
 

If the rug cannot be done in-house, we clean it in our warehouse. In this case, your rug will be returned to you within 7-10 business days.  

We pride ourselves on integrity and customer satisfaction. We will always be upfront with you, and will not go back on our word. Wherever possible, we use organic and plant-based detergents. We avoid detergents that have potentially toxic chemicals. We also avoid using too much water unnecessarily - not only is this wasteful, it can damage your carpets and cause mold. This allows us to offer a truly “green” carpet cleaning service.

 When it comes to pet stains and odors, we go above and beyond our competitors. With that being said there are still no guarantees. This is because pet stains can penetrate deep into the fibers and have a tendency to soak the backing. Once the backing is soaked, the rug/carpet will require a little more TLC then usual.
